HOW VEGAS PLUMBING CAN REPAIR SLAB LEAKS
Repairing a slab leak is a time-consuming process that begins with a quick meter check. If movement is detected, we will check your system’s water pressure. If the pressure test fails, we then proceed with an acoustic inspection using electronic equipment that’s specially designed to listen for signs of running water. This helps us localize the problem. Once the problem has been localized, a special microphone is used to further pinpoint where the problem has occurred.
After the leak has been located, we use a signal generator and receiver to find out where the lines are run. Then we expose both ends of the line that’s causing the problem, open a section of the slab and cap the line until it has been completely repaired.
